OUR CATTLE
STOCK HEALTH
All animals will be delivered with vaccinations in place for:
Pestivirus (Pestiguard) and 7 in 1 Vaccine (leptospirosis) and drenched.
Animals purchased for the QLD market will receive complimentary vaccinations for:
3 day sickness, Botulism and the 3 germ tick vaccine if requested/required.

We are a Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) program accredited producer
We offer J-Bas 7 Assurance

We are also part of the Immune Ready program and all stock offered for sale is vaccinated and managed according to program guidelines
STOCK MANAGEMENT
Our young males and females are run within their contemporary group and benefit from the bond of their micro and macro herd exposure creating a sense of security and are not left alone.
We practice Low Stress Stock Handling so all of our cattle feel safe, secure, unthreatened and develop a calm manner so they can be handled safely and with ease by all.
We move stock in a combination of on foot; with quality working dogs with minimal bark or bite; on motorbike, quad/six wheelers and ute. We voice and whistle our cattle to move them forward or hold them up and may even handle some on horseback from time to time so they all have exposure to a variety of methods to work them in paddocks, coolers or in yards.
We support the Cattlecare QA and none of our cattle have been exposed to an electric prodder nor do they need to be.

We educate them from early on and weaning is the finishing school with even children handling the stock regularly. Docility and Temperament are priority traits for our operation.
BULL GUARANTEE
All Jackaroo Angus Bulls are offered with a 12 month guarantee.
​
Should any bull be found incapable of natural service Jackaroo Angus will offer a mutually agreeable satisfactory replacement if available or will issue a credit note for any upcoming bull of choice less the salvage cost. The guarantee applies provided any such incapacity is not caused by issues that may have arisen since the bull was delivered. A veterinary Certificate would need to be provided and we reserve the right to obtain independent veterinary opinion. However our ‘old school’ ethical and moral approach will reinforce our reputation so looking after the complete satisfaction of our clients will take precedence in the event of any probable versus possible scenario.
BULL DELIVERY
We can either assist in arranging delivery for you or, if preferred, we will complete the delivery by negotiation, at your request to locations in NSW, Queensland or Victoria. Our team includes Mark Allan, who is also an Approved Assessor for the Transport for the New South Wales Livestock Loading Scheme accreditation for drivers. So whether we help you organise transport or we handle transport for you, rest assured your investment will be in good hands experienced in all regulatory requirements as well as animal health/safety and welfare considerations.
STOCK AGENT REBATE
A 2.5% rebate will be paid to all stock agents that introduce or refer a new client to us that makes a bull purchase. A written/email introduction will be welcome and we look forward to looking after both the client and agent with the best of professional service and attention to form a long running mutually beneficial business relationship and ongoing association. In our team, Mark Allan is himself a Licensed Real Estate Agent; Stock and Station Agent and an Accredited Auctioneer and looks forward to working with agents on behalf of clients in an ethical and professional manner.
AUCTIONSPLUS ACCREDITED DELIVERY AGENT
We sell our cattle in various ways including from time to time on AuctionsPlus.

For your buying satisfaction and security, when using this platform, we have in our team our own AuctionsPlus Accredited Delivery Agent.
​
AuctionsPlus is dedicated to ensuring positive transactions for all users of their platform. The Delivery Agent is typically the key contact for interested buyers, the highest bidder or purchaser, as well as the AuctionsPlus team, when stock are listed for sale. They handle pre-sale inquiries, discuss reserve price setting with their client, manage negotiations, handle transport and payment arrangements, and are the first port of call should anything go wrong. Our Delivery Agent will be able to manage all online aspects of the sale of a lot, including setting Reserve prices, accessing Buyer details, re-offering lots, updating results to Sold, and managing lots listed with the Buy Now option.
